Cable lockouts are a highly versatile locking device due to the length and flexibility of the cable. There are many different types available, all designed to perform the same basic task.

You can choose a steel core cable, or a fully non-conductive nylon cable.

The cable can be wrapped around a valve wheel, or around the isolating handles on electrical switch gear. Always secure the cable lockout with a safety padlock.
