Padlocks

When choosing safety padlocks there are a few important factors to consider. Choosing the colour of the lock is at the discretion of the user who must determine how the colors will be deployed.

Choose a shackle size that with fit through your isolation point. A non-conductive shackle gives extra protection against electric shock.

Also consider whether a key to differ, or keyed alike padlock is needed. Individual workers involved with multiple lockout tasks can benefit from a keyed alike set of 2 or more locks, that are unique to them.
