Unlike scissor style hasps, when this hasp closes the shackle is encapsulated in the shroud. This means it's virtually impossible to prize the device apart and remove it from the isolation point. Any attempt to damage or override a safety device is a breach of health and safety law and can lead to disciplinary procedures. Training on the use of lock out hasps is strongly recommended as part of all LOTO training.
