Total Lockout are pleased to announce and launch our new 3000 Series Safety Padlock. This padlock is designed to address long-standing challenges in lockout/tagout (LOTO) safety and key control. This new lock helps us to set a new standard in key uniqueness and lockout reliability.

The Total Lockout 3000 Series Padlocks have been developed with a clear focus on the most critical requirements of a safety padlock. The advanced key coding architecture uses broad, variable increments between neighbouring key cuts. This ensures that each key is genuinely individual and unique. This stringent attention to detail prevents an unsafe scenario where Key A can invertedly open Padlock B, a known issue that severely undermines lockout integrity and compromises the safety of workers.

Versatile and Ideal for all Applications

While this produce range is a brand new offering, the 3000 series adopts the recognised industry standard for safety padlock dimensions. This ensures it is immediately compatible withy existing lockout hardware and procedures. The padlocks feature a 38mm wide body and a 6.3mm diameter shackle in either Nylon or Hardened Steel. For versatility the padlock is available in two shackle lengths; 38mm and 76mm, to suit a wide range of isolation points, hardware and applications.

To assist with lockout/tagout safety procedures, this padlock series is available in 11 distinct body colours. This wide range is a lot more diverse than many competing products and enables clearer identification by department, user, trade or hazard type. The 3000 Series Safety Padlocks support more effective and more robust lockout management processes and procedures, further reducing the potential for human error and increasing safety.

Safety, Integrity and Performance

With these new padlocks we also offer Key Charing. Key Differ Charting prevents duplicate locks and/or keys arriving on site. When the first order is supplied, key numbers are recorded on a new customer record card. Orders placed in the future will be cross-checked against the record card to check for duplications. If duplications are found, they are removed and new differs selected. This ensures that all keys and locks are completely unique, providing optimal safety and integrity.

Sustainability and performance testing for the 3000 series has been exhaustive. The padlocks have been designed to meet the demands of industrial environments across manufacture, utilities, energy, chemical process and maintenance operations.
